Message from Secretary:
Dear Delegates,
Greetings to all,
It’s truly an honour to serve as the Secretary of the committee, UNHRC.
Our committee will be engaging in discussions on the agenda "Redefining Refugees"—an issue that resonates deeply with global humanitarian challenges today. As conflicts, environmental crises, and persecution continue to displace millions, the need to reimagine and broaden our understanding becomes more urgent than ever.
This agenda challenges us to critically examine existing framework and work collectively to create inclusive, forward-thinking solutions.
As we step into this, I encourage every delegate to approach the debate with empathy, critical thinking, and a drive to find solutions. Looking forward to meaningful discussions and impactful resolutions.
"Refugees are not numbers; they are people with hopes, dreams, and untold potential. The way we define them defines us."
Warm regards,
[MAANYA GUDDADKERI]
Secretary,
UNHRC.
